Lyle B. Masnikoff & Associates, P.A. Attends Annual Workers’ Comp Convention
September 25, 2024 – Lyle B. Masnikoff
WEST PALM BEACH, Florida — Attorney Lyle Masnikoff, Founder of Lyle Masnikoff & Associates, P.A., a workers’ compensation law firm serving clients throughout Florida, attended the annual Workers’ Compensation Conference in Orlando in August, 2024. It was his 26th year attending the conference.
On Sunday August 18, 2024, Masnikoff and attorney Charles Wade had the opportunity to meet with all of the workers comp Judges and Mediators. From Jacksonville to Fort Myers, to Miami, almost all of the 30 Judges and 30 State Mediators in the State of Florida attended.
During the day on Monday, August 19, 2024, Masnikoff and Wade attended several classes, including updated case law. At the Exhibit Hall, the workers’ compensation attorneys met with many insurance adjusters, defense attorneys, and doctors who treat their clients. Monday night, they were invited to attend dinner with 29 people, including nine current Judges and several former Judges who are now Private Mediators — a great opportunity to socialize with Judges in a less formal setting.
Although not required to attend the Workers Compensation Convention, Masnikoff and Wade believe that meeting with numerous people helps their current clients and future clients. “Sometimes having a good relationship or reputation can get our clients more money when it comes time to settle, or may help getting a favorable ruling from a Judge or a better recommendation from a doctor,” Masnikoff said.
