Social Security Disability Claims being approved faster
March 1, 2013 – Lyle B. Masnikoff
Recently I have been seeing more and more cases randomly being pulled for review to see if the claim can be approved at that time to avoid any further delays. Fortunately, this is cutting out a lot of time for claims that should have been approved at a lower level but were denied and were forced to wait for a hearing before the Administrative Law Judge.
Less Waiting for Disability Claim Approval
Clients are particularly happy in this situation as they do not need to wait any longer if their claim is approved. Moreover, they do not have to go through the anxiety of the hearing. If the claim is not approved upon review, it will go back to pending to seen by the Administrative Law Judge and this will not cause any delay in their claim.
Disability Benefits Hearing by Video
Many hearings are also now being held by video, which also substantially cuts down the time it takes to get a hearing date. If the individual does not wish to have a video hearing, they can request to appear in front of the Judge in person.
